Many people at Knox Church are already involved in service roles within the wider community. Some specific areas that Knox Church as an organisation provides service to the community include:
- Free Community Meal “Churchyard Cafe”. Once a month, providing a place for anyone to connect, and enjoy a meal together.
- Op shop. Providing good quality used goods to the community. Once a month there’s an opportunity to pick up a bargain.
- Community funerals. Some members of Knox Church conduct community funerals, and provide a level of support to families during their time of grief.
We emphasise the value of relationships that this community service brings. We serve that Jesus Christ may be made known, as we acts as salt and light in our community.
